It’s been a huge month of moving in, discovery, learning and… we officially opened! In this update we’ll share what’s been happening on the farm, how co-living life is unfolding, and what’s coming up next.
we moved in! 🚜 🐖
We moved onto the farm as planned on 30 January 2026, which - aside from 2 of the piggies escaping within the first 2 hours of us arriving on site - went remarkably smoothly (we found them later…).
In a style that felt true to us, we invited 30 friends to arrive the following day to help us set up and pilot our co-living experience. Slightly risky (as a delay to us getting the keys would have resulted in many soggy people at Lostwithiel station with nowhere to go!)… but very on-brand with our optimistic attitude!
Together we pulled off something quite magical. In true community spirit we transformed the soft play barn into a gym and yoga space, furnished the farmhouse (which was completely empty when we arrived), set up the 2 co-working areas, tackled various bits of DIY, carried out health & safety checks, renamed a cat and learned how to look after 34 other animals too!
Amidst the organised chaos we also held masterminds, skill shares and community dinners.
There was a lot of laughter, a lot of teamwork… and a few happy tears.
Looking back, it was a beautiful beginning.

In just 1 week, we collectively transformed the soft play barn...

...into a fully-functional gym / yoga studio...

...but not before we had some fun on it first! #innerchildgoeswild

DIY was powered by homemade healthy cakes!

The artist formerly known as Mr Snuggs got a new name. Say hello to Cosmo!

We explored the acres of enchanted woods (and pretended to be badgers!)
opening ceremony 🔔 🌿
We officially opened our doors to co-living on 14 February 2026.
To mark the moment, our friend Sam led a beautiful opening ceremony around the fountain, blessing the land and setting intentions for what Froomies might become.
That same day we welcomed our first group of new froomies to the farm. What began as 12 people who barely knew each other quickly turned into something much richer.
Over the following 2 weeks of living and working together, friendships formed, creative collaborations sparked, and new connections flourished.
And… there has even been the first Froomies romance!
But we’ll leave it there for now.

co-living life 💻 🏡
We’re slowly settling into a rhythm here.
The co-working spaces are in full flow during the week, with everyone diving into focused work on their own projects.
Morning weights sessions in the Froomies gym are becoming a regular ritual.
And weekly yoga trips to the Eden Project have become a favourite outing - genuinely one of the most inspiring places we’ve ever practiced.
It feels like a lovely balance between deep work, community time and time spent outdoors.

They say size doesn't matter, but a 34" monitor definitely increases productivity!

Saturday morning yoga @ the Eden Project (only 15 mins away) - what a dream!
farm life 🐓 🌾
We’re definitely still in the honeymoon phase of farm life.
Feeding the animals each morning has quickly become a highlight of my day, followed by relaxed afternoon hangouts when everyone - humans and animals alike - seems at their most content.
Collecting fresh eggs from the hen house feels infinitely more satisfying than a trip to Tesco.
And standing in a muddy field in the rain with the pigs turns out to be strangely joyful.
It’s already clear that these farmyard friends are going to be a very special part of life here.

Zoë feeding the piggies - they become more lovable every day!

Eduoard selecting a hen he gets to name. He chose "Monsieur Poulet"… or perhaps it should be "Madame Poulet"?
how we're feeling 🌱 ✨
The word that keeps coming up - both for us and for other Froomies - is expansion.
Our social circles are expanding.
Our skills are expanding.
Our knowledge is expanding.
Our repertoire of dinner recipes is expanding.
Even our muscles are expanding!
All of this seems to happen quite naturally simply by spending time together - chatting over dinner, sharing ideas, helping each other out and co-creating life on the farm.

Oh the dinners - healthy, delicious, and so many great conversations...
join us in march for spring? 🌼 🌞
Spring seems to have arrived on the farm.
Daffodils are popping up everywhere, and a lot of the flowers look like they’re about to follow any day now.
Behind the scenes we’re also preparing for the miscanthus harvest in April - the biofuel crop grown here on the farm that provides our heating and hot water all year round.
If you’d like to spend some time doing deep, focused work on your project, while living in the Cornish countryside surrounded by a supportive community, we’d love to hear from you.

Oh, and did we mention the stunning coastal walks & BEACHES?!
Fill in the Froomies booking form to get started. Maybe see you soon in you fancy something a bit wonderful?
With love,
Zoë & Yello x
